Who I am and who I'm kinda looking for.
I like to fish, explore country roads, antique shops anything to do with old stuff. Really enjoy auction sales when I have a few spare jingles.
Like to travel a little to visit old friends and places of western history but don't care to travel very far alone.
Good movies or playing cards or checkers and chess can get a peson through a rainy day or a cold winter day.
I'm pretty easy to get to know, I'd say my communication skills are pretty good. Check around on this website and read some of my free downloads and you'll learn a little more about my character.
I quite often inject a little humor into my talk and have been told I'm very knowledgeable in many areas. I come from the old school of how to treat a lady.
I enjoy doing things with kids and believe we should be a good example to them and teach them to avoid some of the mistakes we made.
I'm self employed with multiple sources of income and seem to be successful at most everything I take a hold of.
I'd like to find someone to do things with that is willing and ready to go do things. Little things or big things that take more planning. Someone that can make plans and then keep them. I'm open to other's suggestions and new ideas. I'm a giving person. I enjoy serving others who appreciate it.
I'm not much of a party goer. Just as soon stay away from crowds. Prefer smaller groups or one on one.
My ideal match would be a lady who believes in God and practices her faith. I have a preference for someone of my own Catholic faith.
Someone who is easy to look at. A pretty face attracts me.
Someone with a positive upbeat personality that can cheer me up just by the sound of her voice.
Farming and ranching today can get a little tough on the spirit, so a cheerful lift can really help sometimes.
I also would like gal that has some experience with living on a farm or a ranch. Knowing the difference between a box end and an open end wrench are good qualities.
Knowing how to run a grease gun or shut a gate are other good qualities. Cooking and cleaning house...Well I can cook and with a little help could probaly keep a pretty good house too.
Being a bachelor for 30 years has given me many household skills. I'm able to can food, bake pies, bread and cookies, but it sure was hard getting those extra lbs back off. :-)
Other qualities would include a good sense of humor without being goofy. A playful, good natured woman that can lend ideas to different situations and is interested in building a lasting relationship.
I like to have fun and tease and joke around.
I also need someone who can relocate. Might be kind of hard for me to move my place, critters and business to a new area, but not impossible.
Family is great, I like kids, but I want a woman who will put me first once in awhile.
I like attention as well as giving it.
If your young enough and still want to have kids, well.. I'm willing to try that too.
( Old cowboy once gave me the advice to never get married till I've done all the things I wanted to do..I've done about all of it now but get married)
I'm really not interested in having to travel more than a couple hundred miles to meet someone unless they are in my state.
Ya ...I know I'm fussy, but I only want the right one for me. Somethings just need to be a bit handy.
I'm kind of like a good broke all around ranch horse, not the best at some things, but good at many things. We are hard to find but worth the extra effort and are always willing to put our heart into the task at hand, if encouraged to do so.
