My personal tests so far with a 1979 Caprice classic have shown me an additional 4 mpg, but I have not driven much yet. I have also installed one on my 76 Ford pickup. Haven't drive it much except in the pasture fixing fence but I can share this.
I had the carburetor rebuilt a year ago and it would never idle. Had to keep the choke pulled out part way all the time or it would die. Not anymore and now I had to adjust my idle down as it ran too high. The only thing different is I installed a charged water system on it.
I will update as I get more results.
UPDATE..5/23/08
Installed a kit on my 856 International tractor. After working a day in the field the exhaust is not near as black and I have lowered my fuel consumption. Now I don't know how much an hr for sure.( Don't know the capacity of my tank) I just used a yard stick. Before I was burning an inch an a half, an hr. After running a day and a half I'm only burning an inch an hr. 17 inches is a full tank.
I also have a system on my 560 gas tractor and it burns cleaner

UPDATE 6/5/08
With 25 stops( Shut the motor off and restarted) made in 120 miles with my 79 Caprice I still gained a bit over 4 MPG using two electrolizers. I've been keeping track of my mileages every fill since March. My trips to town are 15 miles round trip. So my tests with this vehicle are all short trips with a lot of stops and restarts.
(I plan to add two more electrolizers to this system)
UPDATE 8/26/08
I'm now running 3 electrolizers and 1 vaporizer. I was getting 13-14 mpg all spring till I started using this system and have gone to 16-17 mpg. All my driving is short trips and lots of stop and go
3 years ago on a long trip to Billing MT the best I got was 17.
With a change in my design and hookup on the 24th of August I got 21.1 MPG
Gas is going to go back up, What are you going to do about it?
